WizKids has announced that Mike Elliott, who worked at WotC as both Director of Design and Senior Designer, has joined the WizKids R&D group as a Senior Designer.  At WizKids Elliott will focus his efforts on developing new game lines and fine-tuning the company's existing games.

 

Elliot brings a wealth of experience to WizKids, especially as a designer of collectible card games -- at WotC he worked on the Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Duelmasters, Star Wars, and Neopets CCGs.  WizKids has recently released its first CCG, which is based on the popular Battlestar Galactica property (see 'WizKids Plans Battlestar Galactica CCG').
