USA Network has ordered thirteen new episodes of The 4400 (see 'Inkworks Gets 'The 4400' License') to be aired in summer of 2007. 

The 4400 began as a limited run series about returning alien abductees in the summer of 2004 and received the best ratings of any new basic cable series that season. 

There is no official word on the fate of its counterpart series The Dead Zone.
