Educational Insights, Inc. has agreed to be acquired by Learning Resources, Inc., effective October 31st.  Both companies focus on educational materials, toys, activities and games for home and schools.

Educational Insights makes the popular Blokus line of strategy games, which has been as high as #5 on the ICv2 Retailers Guide to Games list of top board and strategy games (see 'ICV2 Top Ten Most Powerful').

Educational Insights will keep its headquarters and continue to operate independently after the acquisition.
