In December Atlas Games plans to release Unwelcome Guests, a new 55-card Gloom Expansion plus reprints of the core Gloom card game and the previously released Unhappy Homes Expansion.  The 110-card core game will have a new MSRP of $24.95 and the two expansions will go for $12.95 each.

Gloom is the card game equivalent of nihilistic 'Goth' comics like Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Gloom Cookie.  The object of the game is to slake your adolescent thirst for revenge by making your twisted relatives suffer a much as possible.  The 55 transparent cards in the Unwelcome Guests Expansion adds a number of morbid modifiers, gruesome deaths, and a new family, the Malone mob, plus a new residence card, The Broken Arms Hotel, to use with the Unhappy Homes Expansion.
