According to The Hollywood Reporter Rogue Pictures has acquired the rights to Blood on the Tracks, a vampire saga set in the New York City subway system.  The concept originated with CAA agent John Levin, who took the idea to Barry Levine (see 'Speakeasy and Ardustry Join Forces'), who was in the process of setting up Radical Comics that would produce movies via its sister company Blatant Pictures.  Levine then brought in veteran comic book scribe David Tischman (Bite Club, Son of Superman, Green Lantern, Cable, Mutant X), who shares co-creator credit.

Barry Levine's Radical Comics has no Internet presence and has so far published no comic books -- like a number of the so-called 'comic books' optioned for the movies, Blood on the Tracks is 'vaporware,' a comic book that has not yet (and may never be) published.  Perhaps folks in the comic industry should be pleased that the Hollywood apparently bestows enough prestige on comic books as potential movie material that the 'players' who pitch films now feel the urge to attach a four-color pedigree, no matter how ersatz it may be.
