Grant Curtis, who writes the Official Spider-Man 3 Movie Blog, has announced that he is currently working on The Making of Spider-Man 3, which Chronicle Books will publish in late April prior to the film's May opening.  The fact that Chronicle is publishing the book ensures that it will be a beautifully designed volume that fans and collectors will want to buy.  The fact that insider Grant Curtis is writing it means that it will have a total insider's perspective.

In addition to behind-the-scenes photos, conceptual art, and candid shots taken by crew members, The Making of Spider-Man 3 will include chapters on the script, casting, production design, costume design and visual effects plus a day-by-day journal of the film's lengthy shoot.

In addition to the forthcoming The Making of Spider-Man 3 volume, Chronicle has released a number of other Spidey-centric items including Spider-Man Deluxe Notecards ($13.95), Spider-Man Journal ($9.95), and the Spider-Man 2007 Calendar ($12.95).
