On February 2nd Wizard of the Coast will release Planar Chaos, the second of three expansions in the Time Spiral Block. Planar Chaos continues the story of post-apocalyptic Dominaria started in Time Spiral. The 165-card Planar Chaos Expansion will include at least one dragon, which may have the most spectacular dragon art ever employed in the MTG TCG.  Like Time Spiral (see 'Wizards Springs Surprise With Time Spiral') Planar Chaos will include 'timeshifted' cards, but unlike Time Spiral, Planar Chaos' 'timeshifted' cards will not be reprints of older Magic cards and will not be part of a separate subset.  The 45 'timeshifted' cards in Planar Chaos will have normal rarity symbols and will be considered part of the 165-card expansion.

Planar Chaos will be available in theme decks, booster packs and fat packs.  The 61-card Planar Chaos Theme Decks will have an MSRP of $12.29 with the 12-deck Theme Deck Display going for $147.48, while the 15-card Booster Packs will retail for $3.99 and the 36-pack Booster Display Box for $143.64.  The Planar Chaos Fat Packs will include six PC Booster Packs, a Planar Chaos novel, a lifecounter, a player's guide, one random pro-player card, a 40-card Land Pack, two card boxes and six plastic card dividers all for an MSRP of $34.99.  The six-pack Fat Pack Master Carton has an MSRP of $209.94
