Seven Seas Entertainment has announced the acquisition of two new manga series, the harem comedy He Is My Master and the fanboy saga Sota-Kun no Akihabara Funtouki. Both were originally published in Japan by Square Enix, the pop culture powerhouse that publishes the Fullmetal Alchemist manga in Japan.  Seven Seas plans to publish the first volume in each series by mid-2007.

He Is My Master follows the adventure of a somewhat perverse teenager who gets to indulge his every whim when he inherits a fortune after his parents are killed in an accident.  He hires three ultra-cute maids, who move in along with their pet alligator.

The protagonist of Sota-Kun no Akihabara Funtouki (English title to be determined) is also a teenage boy, but in this case he is a shy, ordinary kid, whose status as a closet otaku is revealed during an ill-fated trip to Akihabara, the seat of Japan's otaku culture.
