Toy Vault is releasing a unique party game, Do You Worship Cthulhu? (MSRP $19.99). The game features art by Ron Spencer, and can be played by from 5-30 people (ages 8 and up). One person acts as a moderator overseeing a village of people, one (or more) of which are secret worshippers of Cthulhu, who immediately set about eliminating other villagers. The Machiavellian game play involves deceiving fellow players with lies and obfuscations, making it the perfect game for family holiday gatherings.
Toy Vault's party game is not to be confused with Fantasy Flight's Call of Cthulhu CCG (see 'FFG Cuts 'Call of Cthulhu CCG' Expansions'). Toy Vault's stand alone game, which is out this month, is designed to be played in 30 minutes up to an hour and a half depending on the number of villagers and the rules set employed. It is designed to be played by 5-30 people making it a great party game. Due to its sinister plot and complex deceptions, it is recommended that all players be at least 8 years or older to play. The game contains 32 cards, 24 for the villagers, 2 Worshipers, 2 Seers, 2 Protectors and 2 Vigilantes.
