Chad Spano of Comic Lair in Trenton, NJ, wanted to be sure Clyde Durkee's passing didn't go unnoticed among the comics retailing community.

East Coast comic owner Clyde Durkee passed on December 27th.  Clyde has been in this industry since the mid 70s.  I would have to say most people who read comics through the 80s and 90s should remember the East Coast Comics ads in DCs and Marvels.

I would say he was a legend in the comic mail order business and people who knew him would most likely agree.
