Two announcements that we received Monday indicate that the intense competition between the two Las Vegas game trade shows, GAMA Trade Show and Mark Simmons' Games Expo (see 'New Game Trade Show Goes Head to Head with GAMA in '07'), continues, with giveaways and programming expanding. 

WizKids, which had previously announced that it would hold a dinner and one-per-store figure giveaway at Games Expo, but would be doing a drawing for figures at GAMA Trade Show and no meal (see 'WizKids Colossal Figure Giveaway at Games Expo'), has now announced that it will co-host a dinner with GAMA at GTS, with a one-per-store giveaway of its Fin Fang Foom figure. 

And in an announcement that will probably have less impact on attendance, the Game Store Resource Forum, hosted by Diversified Games' Brian Guenther, announced that it will host a series of seminars for retailers and a retailer hospitality lounge at Games Expo.
