IDW, the new caretaker of the Star Trek comic book franchise, has come up with a new take on the venerable science fiction saga.  In April IDW will present Blood Will Tell, a five-part mini-series that will examine events depicted in the original Star Trek series episodes, such as 'A Private Little War' and 'The Trouble With Tribbles.' from the Klingon point of view.  Writer Scott Tipton will be joined by artist Dave Messina on the series, which will feature alternate covers by Messina and Joe Corroney.

Star Trek: Klingons: Blood Will Tell #1 will be available in both a regular 32-page edition and in a special 40-page Klingon language edition.
