Imaginova Corporation, the digital media company behind the informational Websites Livescience.com and Space.com, has expanded its operations into the entertainment realm by acquiring the comic book news site Newsarama.  Imaginova believes that the Newsarama audience is an excellent fit with the tech savvy young audience that frequents Imaginova's other sites.

Newsarama Senior Editors Michael Doran and Matt Brady are joining the staff of Imaginova's editorial team, but they will continue to oversee the daily operations of Newsarama and work with the same team of writers that have made the site the most popular comics news destination for fans on the Internet.  The deal should provide Newsarama with resources to both improve the performance of its Website and expand its editorial coverage.
