Dynamite Entertainment's new Bob’s Burgers comics will be canonical, according to the company, with Rachel Hastings, Mike Olsen, Justin Hook, and Jeff Drake from the show writing the comic stories. The stories, with art by Frank Forte, Brad Rader, Bernard Derriman, and Tony Gennaro will be installments, exclusive to the comics (see "Dynamite August Books").
The Emmy-nominated show, currently in its 5th season, is still pulling strong audiences that highly correlate with comic demos; the show is a top 10 comedy with men 18-49, men 18-34, and male teens, according to Variety.
