Dark Horse Comics and CD Projekt Red will release a compendium and art book based on The Witcher video game series.
 
Planned for February 24, 2015 release, the hardcover book will include new unpublished original art from each Witcher game.  It also contains an in-depth look at the locations, beasts, and weapons that appear throughout the universe.
 
Based on the short stories of Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, the monster-hunter fantasy series has been adapted into a movie and TV series (The Hexer), a multi-platform video game series, and a recent comic book series from Dark Horse written by Paul Tobin.  Fantasy Flight Games recently announced a board game adaptation (see "'The Witcher Adventure Game'").
