San Diego Comic-Con Announcement: Dynamite Entertainment announced a new event series, tentatively entitled The Women of Dynamite, which will be written by Gail Simone (Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman) and which will feature a triumvirate of distaff Dynamite heroes Vampirella, Red Sonja, and Dejah Thoris.
 
The crossover Women of Dynamite series will be solicited in an upcoming issue of Diamond’s Previews catalog.  No exact timetable has been released for the series.  Simone, who has been writing Dynamite’s Red Sonja comic, is also overseeing a collaborative project featuring a group of top female fiction writers, the Legends of Red Sonja, which celebrates the character’s 40th anniversary (see "'Legends of Red Sonja' 40th Anniversary Miniseries").
