Fantasy Flight Games and 1A Games have announced a long-term licensing deal under which 1A Games will produce the Tide of Iron line of World War II military board games, including the game’s current and future expansions.  1A Games is a new company founded by Dana Lombardy and Bill Jaffe, who have worked on every Tide of Iron release since the original game debuted in 2007.  The transfer takes place immediately and all restock orders and questions should be directed to IA Games.

 

IA Games has planned a "Next Wave" of Tide of Iron releases that will begin with Stalingrad, a major expansion that 1A plans to release in the fall of 2013.  Since Tide of Iron deals with the massive conflict that was World War II, the game has lots of room for expansions.  FFG published several including ones covering the North African campaign, the D-Day Invasion, and most recently, the Eastern Front (Fury of the Bear was released on 2011 see, "Boardgame Expansions and a New Game").
