The Dwarven Forge Kickstarter for Game Tiles ended Tuesday night at over $1.9 million, one of only 30 Kickstarter projects to end with over $1 million in funding.  Only five days ago the project was at around $1 million (see "Dwarven Forge Kickstarter Hits $1 Million"), so it finished strong.

The highly committed character of the supporters was accentuated by the activity in the final few days.  Only 5,398 backers supported the project, at an average pledge of $353.49.

This is going to put a lot of Game Tiles, Dwarven Forge’s new 25mm gaming terrain, into the hands of gamers, but with that few backers involved, the company will have lots of opportunities to sell its new line through the trade as well.
