Z-Man Games will release a new edition of the board game Neuroshima Hex, 3.0, at Gen Con Indy in August, the company announced, with many changes, "making it almost an entirely different game."

The new edition will include updates and corrections to the rules to clarify them, new artwork, and a fifth army (Doom’s Day Machine) in the box.  There will not only be a solo variant (which consists of 55 cards with Neuroshima Hex puzzles), but also three player variants (Deathmatch; Deathmatch with scores; 1 player vs. a team; team match -with one player playing two armies).

No MSRP or trade release date was announced.

Neuroshima Hex is a tactical board game designed by MichaÅ‚ Oracz, based on the Neuroshima RPG by Portal Publishing House and set in the same war-torn post-apocalyptic world where humans and machines fight for control.  Players draw hexagonal tiles that symbolize military units for their army (Borgo, Hegemony, Moloch, and Outpost) and win the game by destroying the enemy HQ or by having the least combat damage to their own HQ when the tiles are exhausted.

Z-Man will be hosting a Neuroshima Hex tournament at Gen Con where the winner will receive all new release Z-Man games for one year.
