McDonalds will offer exclusive Duel Masters TCG cards and accessories in Happy Meals in a promotion that begins January 28th and runs through February 24th.  There are 15 different premium Duel Masters TCG cards in the promotion, including five only available at McDonalds.  Each Happy Meal includes three cards and a card play accessory toy.  The toys are Shobu and Kokujo toys that shoot cards across the table with the touch of a button, Darkness and Light Civilization card holders, Fire Civilization Card dealers, the Shobu Mini-Comic Book and Display, the Water Civilization Card Display that fans out cards, and the Nature Civilization Launcher.

 

Duel Masters would not be the first TCG line that has been kickstarted by a QSR promotion; the increased exposure may help make up for the fact that Duel Masters no longer has its daily strip on the Cartoon Network but is instead in the Saturday Toonami block.
