Peter Chung's Aeon Flux animated series is being released DVD on November 22nd with a gorgeous new high definition transfer.  Aeon Flux: The Complete Collection Box Set (MSRP $38.99) contains every AF short from MTV's Liquid Television as well as the 10 full-length episodes of the Flux series plus two featurettes about the animation process and Chung's other work in animation and commercials.  The release of the new edition of Aeon Flux on DVD has been timed to capitalize on the December 2nd opening of the live action Aeon Flux film starring Charlize Theron (see 'Charlize Theron to Star in Aeon Flux').

While the release of a new spiffed-up version of the anime-influence Aeon Flux is good news for fans of the series, there is more -- Chung told Video Business, 'We're talking about bringing her (Aeon Flux) back in animated form.  MTV wants to wait and see how the box set and the movie do with audiences, but it will happen, in one form or another.'
