Dynamite Entertaiment's Nick Barrucci has confirmed to ICv2 that Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's The Boys will be published by Dynamite.  Despite the fact that The Boys was one of Wildstorm's best-selling titles, it was canceled after issue six, which according to ICv2 sold 27,039 copies in North America during December.  The series' relatively strong performance (it was ranked #81 in December and was down only 12% from its debut issue) led most industry observers to conclude that the series was canceled because of its boundary-pushing (some hamster-lovers might even call it 'raunchy') content, although DC/Wildstorm refused to comment on the reasons for the series' cancellation.

Since the series was creator-owned it was only a matter of time until it found a new publishing home, and DC certainly deserves some credit for not putting up any roadblocks to impede the continuation of the series.  Barrucci told ICv2: 'In addition to Garth and Darick, I would like to thank DC Comics and everyone at Wildstorm Comics who helped to make the transition a smooth one for Garth and Darick.'

Barrucci said that Dynamite is working out its publishing plans and will release specifics on its publishing schedule for The Boys, which will also undoubtedly include a trade paperback collection of the first six issues, in the near future.
