Del Rey Manga has announced that it will publish an original graphic novel starring Odd Thomas, a character created by bestselling author Dean Koontz.  The graphic novel will be drawn by Queenie Chan, whose previous work includes three volumes of The Dreaming for Tokyopop (the third volume is due out in November).  It will be released in the summer of 2008.

Odd Thomas was featured in three Koontz novels:  Odd Thomas, Forever Odd, and Brother Odd.  The character has the ability to communicate with the dead. The new graphic novel work will also feature supporting characters from the novels.  It will take place before the events in Odd Thomas.
