Jeff Smith, creator of Bone, arguably the most successful self-published comic book series of the past 20 years, is unveiling a new comic book, RASL, with a six-page preview that will be distributed at this year's San Diego Comic-Con (July 25th-29th).  Smith has given no indication about the nature of RASL opting instead to allow the preview to speak for itself.  Smith does intend to publish RASL under his own Cartoon Books imprint starting in 2008.

Smith has managed to sell out seven printings of the giant 1,300 one-volume compendium of Bone (see 'Bone Blows Through') and Scholastic has sold well over a million volumes of its full color Bone graphic novels.
