A unique opportunity to capitalize on the incredible run-up to the release of Watchmen (see “A Million Copies of Watchmen”), The Mindscape of Alan Moore DVD, will street on September 30th. This two disc collector’s set features the only documentary in which Moore participates, along with a wide range of extras including interviews with collaborators Melinda Gebbie, Dave Gibbons, David Lloyd, Kevin O’Neill, and Jose Villarubia; a making of featurette; an intro to Moore’s work by author Paul Gravett; and selected scene analysis with director’s commentary. The package also includes a 20-page booklet with a foreword by Michael Moorcock.
The documentary, directed by DeZ Vylenz has been screened at numerous film festivals, and received a Special Recognition Award for Creative Achievement in Documentary Fiolmmaking at the San Francisco World Film Festival.
