Bluewater Productions has announced that it will release a comic biography of Senator Hillary Clinton, Female Force:  Hillary Clinton, in January.  The story will cover her career up through her close defeat in the contest for the Democratic Presidential nomination. 

Early response to IDW’s John McCain and Barack Obama comics (see “IDW’s Comic Book Bios”) has been good.  This title will be considerably after the political season peaks with the election, although Clinton is a widely known politician with considerable popularity.

The comic will be written by Neal Bailey; no artist has been announced.

It’s been pointed out to us that the trade dress and cover illustration of Bluewater’s Hillary Clinton comic bear a striking resemblance to IDW’s cover for its Obama and McCain comics.  That’s a similarity that seems hard to explain by coincidence.
