A promotional flyer for the Fantasy Flight Games Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game (see “Fantasy Flight Snares BSG Board Game”) will be included with the next Battlestar Galactica DVD release, Season 4 (see “Battlestar Galactica Season 4.0”), which is streeting in January.  This will expose large numbers of BSG fans to the existence of the game. 

Initial trade response to BSG: TBG has been strong, according to an FFG spokesperson.  The first wave of product, which will arrive in the next two weeks, has been totally sold at the manufacturer level; and the second wave, which will arrive in mid-November, is about half sold.  Those two waves will be the extent of BSG: TBG product in 2008. 

A third wave of the game is planned for shipment in January, around the time of the DVD release and the launch of the new season (see “BSG Returns on January 16th”).
