Has it been five years already?  The Teamsters voted overwhelmingly over the weekend to strike if an agreement was not reached in contract negotiations with Big Brown.  The current contract expires July 31.  A two-week strike in August of 1997 disrupted deliveries for the thousands of pop culture retailers that depend on UPS to deliver their shipments of new goods.  Here's hoping that the two sides reach an agreement prior to the strike deadline this time.
