Box Brown, whose new Xeric Grant-supported graphic novel Love is a Peculiar Type of Thing has now been printed, is requesting support in the form of orders for its release in comic stores.  Brown is concerned that orders may not reach Diamond Comic Distributors’ new minimum order thresholds (see “Diamond’s Increased Product Thresholds”). 

Love is a Peculiar Type of Thing was begun for Top Shelf’s Top Shelf 2.0 Webcomics venue.  Brown applied for a Xeric Grant based on about 30 pages of stories; he completed the 96-page collection with the support from the grant.
