The Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes movie (see “Best in Shows 2009—Part II”) will be the new sponsor of the Family Guy special that Microsoft bailed on (see “Microsoft Pulls Out of Family Guy Special”), according to Hollywood Reporter. Although Microsoft pulled out of the single-sponsor slot over content issues, Warner Bros. clearly feels differently about the association with Family Guy for its Sherlock Holmes release.
Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show will air November 8th; Sherlock Holmes opens Christmas Day.
