Olivia Wilde is set to join Daniel (James Bond) Craig in Jon Favreau’s film adaptation of the Cowboys & Aliens comic book. The red hot duo of Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci wrote the screenplay along with Damon Lindelof, co-creator of Lost.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wilde, who appears as Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley in House, will play Ella who joins up with the mysterious cowboy played by Craig to fight off an alien invasion in the old West. Craig replaced Robert Downey Jr., who left the project in January (see “Daniel Craig the Cowboy?”). Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, and Brian Grazer are producing the film along with Platinum Comics’ Scott Mitchell Rosenberg.
