Evil Hat Productions will release The Dresden Files Roleplaying Game, based on the bestselling fiction series by Jim Butcher, in June. Evil Hat is expanding its distribution network beyond Indie Press Revolution, which has previously distributed its titles, and has announced that Alliance Game Distributors will be offering the title as well.
The game will be based on the Fate game engine, which also drives Spirit of the Century from Evil Hat.
Butcher’s The Dresden Files is not only a bestselling series of eleven books (with a twelfth, Changes, due in April), but has also been adapted to an award-winning graphic novel series from Del Rey (see “2010 Great Graphic Novels for Teens”).
