Titan Merchandise, the sister company of Titan Books, has signed a deal to produce a range of Hammer Film-branded products including t-shirts, playing cards, mini-busts, statues and dioramas. Titan Books has recently released two volumes documenting the glory years of Hammer Films, which lasted from the 1950s to the 1970s, The Hammer Story and Hammer Glamour. Titan Merchandise plans to roll its first Hammer-based products out by the end of this year.
Just two weeks ago Dark Horse Comics signed an agreement with Hammer films to create comic books and graphic novels based on both classic and contemporary Hammer Films (see “Dark Horse Teams Up With Hammer Films”). After a long hiatus from the movie business, the revived Hammer studio will release two films this year, Let Me In, a remake of the Swedish horror film, Let the Right One In, and The Resident.
