Taverncraft will release the first of its line of collector steins based on The Hobbit in September:  Smaug the Magnificent, featuring art by fantasy artist Matthew Stawicki.  The 10” stoneware stein will feature panoramic bas-relief sculpting and a sculpted pewter lid with the message “One Ring to rule them all.”

There are two editions:  the Smaug the Magnificent Epic Collection Stein at $99.99; and the Smaug the Magnificent Legendary Collection Stein, limited to 999 at $149.99.  The Legendary version will feature an 18K gold-plated lid, hand-painted gold trimming throughout the image and handle, and a certificate of authenticity signed and numbered by Stawicki.
