At the twenty-second annual Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards banquet, which was held in conjunction with the San Diego Comic-Con, Eric Shanower’s and Skottie Young’s Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Yoshihiro Tatsumi’s A Drifting Life each earned 2 Eisners as did creators Ed Brubaker (Captain America), David Mazzucchelli (Asterios Polyp) and J.H. Williams III.
