January Jones, who plays Don Draper’s ex-wife Betty in AMC’s hit Mad Men, will play Emma Frost in X-Men:  First Class, according to Deadline Hollywood.  Earlier reports that Alice Eve had been cast in the role (most notably from Hollywood Reporter, see “Alice Eve to Play Emma Frost”) were premature.

Other casting announcements for X-Men:  First Class include Jason Flemyng as Azazel (Nightcrawler’s father), Bill Milner as young Magneto, Morgan Lily as young Raven, and Zoe Kravitz.

They join Rose Byrne (see “Rose Byrne Up for Key X-Men Role”), Kevin Bacon (see “Kevin Bacon in X-Men First Class”), Michael Fasssbender, James McAvoy, and others in the Matthew Vaughn-directed pic.
