Osprey Publishing, which specializes in military history, is launching a new imprint, Dark Osprey with the October publication of Zombies: A Hunter’s Guide ($17.95) by Joseph McCullough.  The regular Osprey Guides have become indispensable aids for military gaming, and the publisher is hoping that the Dark Osprey titles will be able to do the same for fantasy gaming.

Zombies: A Hunter’s Guide contains a detailed explanation of the historical origins of zombies, and all the information needed to combat their growing threat.  It examines all varieties of zombies and catalogs their strengths and weaknesses with a special emphasis on recognition and elimination.  The 80-page trade paperback Guide contains plenty of color illustrations detailing the tactics and equipment used on zombie fighting.
