Director Christopher Nolan has begun revealing details on Batman 3, which starts shooting early next year (see “Batman 3 to Start in March”).  The title will be The Dark Knight Rises, and the villain will not be the Riddler, he told the L.A. Times Hero Complex blog. 

Nolan also revealed that the film will be shot with high def cameras with plans for an Imax release, and will not be 3D.

The Dark Knight Rises will premiere July 20th, 2012.
