Stan Lee’s Soldier Zero #1 has sold more copies than any other title in BOOM! Studios’ history, the company announced this week. It’s sold over 24,000 copies through all channels, topping the company’s previous bestseller, the first issue of its Farscape series (see “Farscape is BOOM!’s #1”).
In addition to distribution through Diamond Comic Distributors and Haven Distributors, BOOM! did retailer variants of the first issue for Hastings Entertainment and Midtown Comics.
Soldier Zero is the first of three BOOM! titles based on Stan Lee concepts; the other two will launch in November and December (see “Stan Lee’s BOOM! Titles Revealed”).
