Video giant Blockbuster, which is reorganizing under Chapter 11 (see “Blockbuster Files Chapter 11”), will close another 182 stores in the next few months, according to Home Media Magazine.  It will close 72 stores by December 31st and the remaining 110 stores in the first few months of 2011. 

The company’s most recent store count was 2,864 in the U.S. as of October 3rd, and 5,537 worldwide, after closing over 1,500 stores worldwide in the last two years.
