Bandai Entertainment and ComicsOne announced that they will be bringing anime and manga property Onegai Teacher to the States in 2003. ComicsOne will be releasing the manga beginning in January 2003; Bandai Entertainment will release the anime DVD in May. Bandai plans a limited special edition DVD with lots of bonus material. Onegai Teacher (Please! Teacher) is the story of an 18-year-old high school student and his homeroom teacher, who he discovers is an alien. The story is further complicated by rumors that the student and his teacher are having an affair. ComicsOne and Bandai are promising an 'aggressive' cross promotion campaign in support of the property.
