Based on the popularity of the chibi-style products it’s been creating for its Naruto CCG (see “Q2 Naruto CCG Releases,” for example), Bandai has created chibi-style playmats for the Naruto CCG organized play program.  They’ll be used as tournament prize support in the May and June organized play kits. 

 

Bandai will also be running Shonen Jump Championships for its Naruto CCG.  They’ll be held once a month year-round. Shonen Jump branding, including Shonen Jump-branded prizes, will be used for the premier tournament level events for the Naruto CCG.  Each event will also include special areas for new players that just want to learn how to play without participating in the competitive tournament.
