Neil Gaiman’s American Gods is in development as an HBO series, according to Hollywood Reporter. Playtone, Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman’s company which also did Band of Brothers, The Pacific, and Big Love, is involved in the project to adapt the Hugo- and Nebula Award-winning novel (see “American Gods Wins Hugo Award”).
