Paizo Publishing and WizKids Games have announced plans for a new joint venture to produce a set of pre-painted plastic miniatures designed for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

 

The miniatures will be designed as a support product to go with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Beginner Box, scheduled to release in October, 2011. The miniatures will feature characters from the boxed set.

 

Paizo CEO Lisa Stevens lauded WizKids experience with pre-painted minis: “WizKids essentially created the pre-printed plastic miniatures category, and they’ve only gotten better in the years since. We are thrilled to work with WizKids to bring our iconic characters to tabletops all over the world.”
