Two new images of Andrew Garfield as The Amazing Spider-Man have just appeared on the Web. Both of the shots provide a great glimpse of the rich textures of the new Spidey suit. In the first Spidey appears to be perched on the protruding lip of a building look down.
The second image shows him flying through the air with a gesture that looks like he is casting his web out to the side as he swings from building to building. The two images appeared on a Spanish language site, which watermarked them.
Even though Sony’s Amazing Spider-Man movie doesn’t debut until July 3rd, 2012, Sony is evidently happy enough with the progress of Marc Webb’s Spidey reboot that the studio has already set a date for a sequel, Amazing Spider-Man 2 will bow on May 2nd, 2014 (see “Sony Sets Date for Garfield Spider-Man Sequel”).
