A trailer for The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey will play before U.S. showings of Tintin, beginning December 21. Although some video has been shown on the production blog (see “Peter Jackson’s ‘Hobbit’ Production Blog #4”), this is the first trailer release. The film will premiere December 13, 2013.
