The second trailer for The Hunger Games, based on the YA book series by Suzanne Collins, has been released, with new footage not seen in the first (see “Hunger Games Trailer”). The film releases March 23.  The release of the trailer is tied to the upcoming ad during the Super Bowl, all parts of a run-up that appears to be leading to a strong opening. 

Part of that opening will be at Imax theaters, the studio announced today.
