WizKids has announced that it is adding its Quarriors Dice-Building Game as a new event format in the WizKids Event System (WES). Stores can now hold sanctioned Quarriors Game Nights for both casual play and for organizing their own Quarriors tournaments.
WizKids will even crown the first Quorld Championship Tournament at GenCon. Players can earn the right to participate in the Quorld Championship by qualifying at GenCon or in local Quorlds Qualifier Tournaments scheduled through the WizKids Event System. Stores wishing to hold Quorlds Qualifier events must purchase at least one copy of the Quarrior Expansion Quarmageddon (see “Quarriors! Quarmageddon Expansion”) and register their store (if not already signed up) with WES. Quorlds Qualifier Tournaments can be scheduled form the release of the Quarmageddon Expansion on June 6th through July 15th. Winners of local Quorlds Qualifier Tournaments will be given seating in an advance round of the Quorld Championship Tournament (all players are responsible for their own expenses providing their own travel, accommodation, and registration at GenCon).
As a promotion for the release of the Quarmageddon Expansion WizKids is offering stores a release day promo card with each copy of Quarmageddon they order. Retailers who order a case that contains six Quarmageddon Expansions will get an additional 4 promo cards for a total of ten to use as prize support.
