Walt Disney Animation Studios is planning an animated feature based on Marvel’s Big Hero 6, a superteam spun out of Alpha Flight and into a three issue 1998 miniseries (Sunfire and the Big Hero 6), and a second miniseries in 2008, according to Deadline.
The team was created by Steven Seagle and Duncan Rouleau for Alpha Flight. The first miniseries was by Scott Lobdell and Gus Vasquez. No writer’s been assigned yet, so this is in a very early stage of development.
