NYCC News: Today Dynamite Entertainment announced that award-winning writer Joshua Hale Fialkov will write a new comic book series The Devilers, which Dynamite will debut in 2013.  Among Fialkov’s credits are the Harvey-nominated Elk’s Run, the Harvey and Eisner-nominated Tumor, and the Harvey-nominated Echoes.  Fialkov has also written extensively for Marvel (Rampaging Wolverine), DC (Superman/Batman, I, Vampire), and Image (Alibi, Cyblade).

 

Dynamite has not released any details about The Devilers so far, but the cover image to issue #1 by Marc Silvestri certainly looks intriguing with a Devil's Head looming over a group of figures in shadow, each of which appears to be wearing the symbol of one of the world's great religions.  Look for more details about The Devilers to emerge over the next few months.
